Branding through design and marketing communications
Today we will be discussing branding, design, website design, printing, and marketing communications.
Hye Meadow Winery, located in Hye, Texas, is a peaceful place. Just off Highway 290 West, the winery sits surrounded by fields smothered with beautiful old trees providing much needed shade; perfect for enjoying a refreshing glass of vino. But don’t let the serenity of the surroundings fool you, these people know how to throw a party.
So, we were flattered when High Meadow approached us again this year to design and illustrate the poster for their 2nd Annual Red, White & Roasted Pig Roast on July 13th, 2014. The directions were simple. MAN VS. PIG. Needless to say, we were excited to get started and soon pencil met paper and the match was set. Admittedly, a glass of wine (or two) may have helped get the creative juices simmering. Sticking with the theme from last year’s design, bold block letters contrast nicely with the vintage style illustration and colors.
In the end, everyone was happy and we can call it a job well done. We can’t wait to work on future projects with our favorite wine makers. If you are interested in checking out the event click here.
